Genealogy Meeting and Author Talk

Swedish Genealogy Meeting and Author Talk at the American Swedish Historical Museum
date(s)
time
1:00 - 3:00 pm

Gather with fellow ASHM members and explore the branches of your Swedish ancestry. The meeting will include a lecture by Across the Brooklyn Bridge author John Lundin. In his talk, John will discuss the challenges of researching and writing a multi-generational epic that gives historical context to his family’s story and takes the reader on a journey from Sweden to America to the Pacific in World War II. John will also share his experiences in Sweden, especially his serendipitous visits to his grandfather’s hometown where he began his quest to trace his ancestors’ lives on land and on the sea.
