This year we were not able to host an event at the museum, so all of our fabulous auction items are online! Support the museum by bidding today! Forward this information to your friends and encourage them to bid too.

We have a new auction website, Accelevents, so all bidders will need to register and enter a credit card when they make their first bid.

Check out these auction features:

  • Buy It Now! Some items from the museum gift shop can be purchased right away. We have multiples of these items so you can buy it outright OR take your chances and bid on it.

How to bid:

Online Bidding

  1. Head to the event fundraising page at https://www.accelevents.com/e/americanswedish
  2. Find the item you would like to bid on and click "Bid"
  3. For your first bid, you will be asked to create a username. Enter this information, and then enter your bid amount and credit card information.
  4. Once submitted, your bid is confirmed. You will receive text notifications if you are outbid, and will be notified at the end of the auction if you have won an item

Text Message Bidding

  1. Submit your bid by texting the event phone number - (317)-548-0416 - with your selected item's three letter code and bid amount. For example, ABC300 would bid $300 on the item with three letter code ABC
  2. After your first bid, you will be asked to confirm your bid by replying with your First and Last Name
  3. Once confirmed, your bid will be in the system. You will receive text notifications if you are outbid, and will be notified at the end of the auction if you have won an item
