Auxiliary May Luncheon

The sculptor Charles Allmond was the speaker for the Auxiliary's annual May Luncheon on Thursday May 8, 2008. Those present were captivated by the artist's demonstration of direct stone carving techniques, as well as his insightful remarks on drawing inspiration for his work from wildlife.
The exhibition Charles Allmond: Second Nature is on view at the
American Swedish Historical Museum through July 31, 2008.
