A "ting" is a gathering. The ASHM's annual spring gathering welcomed friends
on April 12 for a celebration featuring reception, buffet and auction.
The presentation of the 2008 Outstanding Achievement Award to
Håkan Swahn was a highlight of this year's event. The museum was also honored to host special guests, His Excellency Jonas Hafström, Ambassador of Sweden, and Mrs. Hafström for Spring Ting. All Spring Ting proceeds support exhibits and educational programs at ASHM.
