The ASHM offers a unique and beautiful setting for events. From weddings to business gatherings, the Museum has indoor and outdoor spaces accommodating up to 200 guests and easy access to free parking. We work with our exclusive caterer, Jeffrey A. Miller Catering, which offers only the highest quality food and service.
Imagine your wedding in our two-story Grand Hall with its elegant staircase and beautifully painted, vaulted ceiling. Or, if you prefer an outdoor ceremony, you might exchange vows under a leafy tree with the lush park as your backdrop, frame your ceremony in architectural charm under one of the arcades’ graceful arches, or go big-front-and-center in front of the museum’s ornate doors and stately façade.
Rental of the American Swedish Historical Museum includes access to the Museum’s public spaces during your event. Your guests will enjoy browsing our fantastic galleries, which feature original period paintings, furniture, and textiles. There is even a seasonal tent, complete with lighting, fans, heaters, and clear, retractable sides so that you and your loved ones can dine and dance the night away while enjoying the beauty of the outdoor setting.

Photography Rental Information
Photography sessions are available on the Museum grounds and inside by appointment only. For personal photography, the fee is $60/hour during the Museum's open hours and $100/hour after hours. For corporate photography, the fee is $250/hour. All fees must be paid with booking.
