All are welcome to enjoy a fika of Swedish pastries and coffee provided by SWEA Philadelphia followed by a special piano performance by internationally renowned artist Per Tengstrand. A native of Växjö, Sweden, Per currently resides in Princeton, NJ where he is the Artistic Director of the Princeton Chamber Music Series. Since his debut at the Lincoln Center in New York City in 1997, Per has performed at the Kennedy Center, Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He is the recipient of the Royal Medal of Litterus and Artibus from the King of Sweden. We are happy and honored to welcome Per to ASHM as we continue our 100th anniversary celebrations!
