How did local Indigenous Ancestors get around the area that became part of New Sweden in the early 17th century? Join Bob Thomas for an on-line presentation not only of where the trails used by the Native Americans were likely located, but also why they were built in certain locations and for what purposes. We’ll also learn to what extent some of them still survive in modern form.
Later this summer or fall, join Bob again for a tour of little visited parts of the Swedish settlement in southern New Jersey to see what are likely remnants of some the trails used by the Lenape.
