Lucia Rehearsal

Lucia Procession Children
date(s)
time
2:00- 4:00 pm

Museum members are invited to have their children participate in our annual Lucia performances on December 4th and 5th. The performances take place at 11 am and 2 pm. They are sure to have fun dressing up as tomtar, pepparkakor, folk dancers, star boys, as well as Lucia and her attendants while singing traditional Swedish Christmas songs. Attendance at both rehearsals is required. Registration closes on November 5th. Not a member yet? Join Here.

Please note that ASHM is taking the following health and safety precautions for performers:

  • Performances will take place outside during the Christmas Market on December 4th and 5th.
  • All performers are required to wear masks. (Song recordings will be played to amplify children's voices.)
  • Other precautions such as sanitizing and social distancing may also be utilized.
  • The number of children in each performance will be limited.
  • Performance time will be limited to approx. 15-20 mins with each group performing one song or dance, followed by a procession.
