Join ASHM & Liquid Alchemy for the debut of our special limited edition cider collaboration, Rambo’s Revival – New Sweden Apple & Lingonberry Hard Cider! Made with apples from our heritage breed Rambo Apple trees, this cider combines historic tradition with a modern Scandinavian lingonberry twist.
Participants will learn more about the history of our region and the Peter Gunnarsson Rambo family by exploring the New Sweden Colony Gallery and attending talks at 6:30 p.m. Former Governor of the Swedish Colonial Society Herb Rambo will discuss the Rambo family and their connection with the apple, and Liquid Alchemy co-founder Jeffrey Cheskin will give a talk about the apple cider-making process.
The event includes great seasonal food with Swedish meatballs, beat & apple salad, crudités, apple & lingonberry crisp, and one cider ticket. Additional ciders or other bar beverages can be purchased. Must be 21+ to sample the cider as it contains alcohol. $15 for ASHM members and $20 for nonmembers.
