Toddler Time: The Dala Horse

We are excited to welcome families back for our Toddler Time program. This hour-long program includes storytime, songs, museum tour, activities, and crafts for your family to enjoy! This program is free for members and $5 per non-member child. Accompanying adults are free. Please register below or you can pay at the door.

Our first program will focus on the Dala horse that started as a children's toy and has become a beloved symbol of Sweden. We will read “A Ride on the Red Mare’s Back” by Ursula K. Le Guin, go on a Dala horse hunt through the galleries, and play games to build counting and language skills. To celebrate the return of Toddler Time we will have pony rides provided by A&P Petting Zoo.
