This month children will get an up close look at the glacial landscapes of the Arctic. We will read In Arctic Waters by Laura Crawford and then learn how we can do our part to fight against global warming to make sure the Arctic stays frozen for generations to come. Families will get to explore these regions through Museum’s newest exhibit Nordic Changes: Works by Diane Burko and then create their own works of glacial art!
Culture comes alive during the many events hosted by the American Swedish Historical Museum throughout the year. Join us and discover the food, music and holidays of Sweden, experience our newest exhibitions or check out of educational programs for both children and adults.
