Virtual Toddler Time Field Trip - Have You Any Wool?

Don't let the quarantine stop you from taking a field trip...a virtual field trip that is! Be sure to visit ASHM's facebook page on Tuesday to watch this month's Toddler Time. Families will learn about the process of turning sheep's wool into clothing and take a virtual field trip to Tamarack Farm for an up close look at Swedish Gotland heritage breed sheep!

Wool is an important resource for people in Sweden and this month children will also learn how wool is made into clothing through our story Pelle's New Suit by Elsa Beskow and discover objects in our Textile Gallery made from wool. For our craft this month you can make your own wooly sheep at home!
