Book Fair & Family Fun Day

12:00 pm - 3:30 pm

To celebrate our newest exhibition highlighting Swedish illustrator Gustaf Tenggren, ASHM is hosting a Book Fair and Family Fun Day! This is a free outdoor event on the Museum's terrace with plenty of space for physical distancing. Each child attending will receive a free Golden Book! Admission is Free.

Activities include craft stations and a story corner where young readers can build literacy skills by reading The Poky Little Puppy to dogs from the Seeing Eye Puppy Raising Program: Future Service Dogs!

This is the perfect opportunity to support local independent bookstores.

Event vendors include:
Amalgam Comics & Coffee House
A Novel Idea
Hakim’s Bookstore
Main Point Books
Swedish Books from Midsommarklubben

The Museum's Auxiliary Club will be selling fall food treats at a socially distanced outdoor seating area for an afternoon snack.

Check out the Facebook event page and let us know you're coming!

This event is made possible with the support of the Davenport Family Foundation.
