Come along to meet Pippi Longstocking, Sweden's famous children's book character created by Astrid Lindgren. Families will learn to be thing-finders like Pippi and visit Villa Villekulla in our playroom.
Toddler Time is free for members and $5 for non-member children.
Get your motor running with this month’s Toddler Time! Kids will explore all modes of transportation and the ways people get around in Sweden. Kids will get to race cars on our velocity ramps, explore a cityscape, float a boat, and make their own transportation art project to take home.

Get a taste of Swedish summer at our annual Crayfish Party! Enjoy a buffet of crayfish and Swedish meatballs, along with potatoes, cheese pie, cucumber and beet salads, desserts, and a glass of aquavit, all outside under our beautifully decorated tent. $50 for ASHM and SACC Philadelphia members and $60 for non-members. Register online by August 14th.
ASHM is proud to participate again in WAWA Welcome's America Free Museum Day. ASHM will be open to the public on June 30th from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm with free admission to all visitors.

Looking for a radically different date experience this summer? The American Swedish Historical Museum and the Fabric Workshop and Museum are teaming up to create a fun night out exploring ASHM’s newest exhibition Radically Marimekko.
This workshop for kids 8-18 will introduce families to fun Scandinavian-inspired crafts. Participants will make their own paper dolls and clothing inspired by Marimekko patterns. Accompanying adults are welcome to make the craft for $10.
