Outdoor Christmas Market

This year ASHM is bringing our traditional market outside! Bundle up and visit the Museum the first weekend of December for a unique shopping opportunity. Although 2020 has presented some logistical challenges for hosting this event, the centuries old European custom of outdoor markets helps provide a safer COVID shopping experience!

Shop From Home Evening

We have added a second shopping evening just in time to finish your list! Sign up for a 20 minute time slot and you will be assigned a personal shopping assistant who will contact you via video chat to help you make selections from the ASHM gift shop. Your purchases can be packaged for mail or curbside pick-up. To register for a time slot, call 215-389-1776. An updated video of products will be released on December 7th.

Kids Fall Fika Virtual Cooking Program

Cooking with kids is a popular activity all around the world, and certainly in Sweden. Your family is invited to join cook book author and nutritionist Amy von Sydow Green as we make the classic Swedish chocolate balls (chokladbollar). These delicious little chocolate oat balls are a staple in Swedish households - it is the first recipe that every Swedish child learns how to make. The recipe is super easy, but it can get quite messy... We will also prepare warm spiced apple juice to drink and make a fun fall leaf crafts to decorate.
